    What I've never understood is why an acceptable plural of Octopus is Octopi but Platypus isn't Platypi. It's platypuses or simply platypus.

    My boobs fell out of my dress on prom night at an after party. I was sleeping on my boyfriend's lap, rolled over, and out they popped. He gently replaced them for me.

    A few other guys who were pretty shitfaced saw the whole thing then were super pissed the next day that they were too drunk to fully remember.

    I have a vague memory of the bf touching my breasts but not thinking it was weird in a room full of people. Methinks I was a bit drunk myself.

    He truly was the BEST first boyfriend a girl could have ever dreamed of. I mean, just the best.

    We're still in touch to this day. Totally different people and have nothing in common any longer, but I still think he's purty awesome in a non romantic wway.

    then there are fun plurals in which the alteration is middle of the term, like passersby, culs-de-sac, and sisters-in-law. so we can pretend it's platyspus because that sounds fun.
