For a gaming PC I would normally go towards the i7 over anything else, even if it is used. I would go more on the route of a better case / liquid cooling even if it is just a small corsair one (H60 or whatever fits.) OC is going to benefit you more than changing out chips. Even this AMD jumps from 3.3ghz to 4.0 on the first quickboost setting. It will just require OC / liquid cooling to remain in that setting for an extended period of time.

Yes, the raid option is pretty nice to build a better all around without blowing half your budget on just a high capacity SSD. I think that is actual what those low cost hybrid drives are. I think they mount a 32GB or 64GB SSD with a 2TB drive to create a "2TB SSD."

I think that test for that typing hit should have been harder. During the test, every time I didn't know how to spell a word instantly, my brain would like spasm, hit random letters, then slam the enter key.
