03/19 - Silly Sunday!

I'm queen of this corner. Turking since 2012, and I only used TM as a poorman's scraper, with watchers like "Survey .20 Survey .50 Survey $1" at 60 seconds each. Never knowing what a panda was (as evident by my first forum post), if a survey was dead on HWTF I just closed it and moved on with my day. I graduated to HN only briefly before landing on the forum(s) for good. I used to only search mturk by most available or highest paying, never even "latest"???? And most hilariously, I mostly only turked on Sunday afternoons while watching football, or I'd do ANH/NetMSI when I was bored at work and needed a few bucks. I genuinely thought that's all mturk was good for, and had no clue people made real money on here.

It's humbling and gross to know that I was one of those people, asking how to catch the most popular work.

 

Eh, idk anything about SEO so wasn't planning on it unless there's a good reason to?

 

Does it cause you extra work? If yes, then skip it, if no, then skip it.

Linking to lower quality sites with similar information to information on your site can negatively influence your rankings and significantly boost theirs.

 

Exact same thing happened to me. I also hated that HIT with a passion and don't remember how the bonus payout worked. I better get $10 for that horrible thing.

2012. Never used HN. And only turked in the morning until I hit $20 or noon (usually noon) when I would declare the day dead, usually because p9r had taken the day off.

I may have created a monster, I would advise against following my greyhat (ahem...blackhat) tactics. If you must though, just post a HIT on mturk for a 0.01 and geolock it to India to post the TurkerHub link all over MTG, Daniel would have a heart attack with all the traffic from India and it would be from right in his backyard.
