that goes with what @joie de vivre said about being confident in her 30s, too. i'm 33 and have yet to find any semblance of self-acceptance, lol. maybe some day.

My self-acceptance/confidence didn't show up until I had kids ~26. 31 now, and I might have looked better back then, but now I just don't care.

 

I have words of wisdom here, I'm trying to formulate them. They're not coming to me at the moment.

I want to gather up all of you who don't really accept yourselves, or have struggles, or wake up feeling horrible and show you how much nicer it is to wake up and be happy with what is on that day.

I learned how to accept me and life the really fucking hard way, wouldn't wish that way on anyone, and I wish I knew how to share what I learned so others could learn it without something bad happening.

I was about 34. put on your pajama pants, jog to the grocery store in bad weather, flip off the pervert lady staring at you from her suv that she maneuvers in your way, and buy some yogurt. given that this is 2019, most people in a position to judge you probably got that ability by living badly, not by living well.
