    wow thats harsh, i got to be thankful for what i have because ive always been able to be in her life and actually get along with her stepdad even. her mom never hassled me about the money but the state never stopped counting. out of everything that ive gone through i have it pretty good right now... could lose it all very quickly if i decide to think i can handle a night of "fun"

    I'm so thankful for you to be able to be a part of her life, and DEFINITELY brownie points to the mom for loving her child more than she hates her ex no matter the circumstances. My husband doesn't even drink, and has never even tried drugs, so it is literally out of spite and bitterness that she does that. Just keep that little girl in mind and I know you will do great!! The amount of strength it took to get clean alone tells me you've got this demon whipped!!!
