Does anyone know why I can complete HITs from certain requesters when the links are posted here, but the HITs aren't visible if I search for them? Once I've completed the HIT, I can search for it, but not before. I have my filter set to 0.0 and the "I'm qualified to work on" box unchecked. This is particularly true for A9s. Thanks so much for posting all the links, everyone!

Are you using a catcher to panda the links here? If so there probably isn't any HITs listed on mturk the moment you search. Most of the HITs posted in this thread are reviews AFTER someone has accepted at HIT, worked on it (often sat in a queue for a few mins first), and then is revewing the completed hit. You can sometimes catch HITs using the panda link from reviews because people accept them then return them without completing them, or they expire and 1 or 2 trickle back out on to mturk. A requester only has X amount of HITs they pay for people to do, so if they had budget for 100, once 100 people complete them, that's that.

 

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I truly appreciate it. Actually, it happens all the time, even when other people are seeing HITs. I know the HITs there because they're penny batches like A9s and my friends are working on them at that time. For some reason I can't see them until I go through a link. After that, the HIT and requester are visible when I search for them. It's so frustrating!
