    I am leaning towards a shield. I set up a alert on slickdeals to let me know when they go on sale. Seems they often drop to $120.

    If it doesn't drop on sale anytime soon though - I'll probably get something cheaper, as the shield's major benefit for the higher price is with gaming and stuff like that. But I'm not much of a gamer nowadays.

    Quick questions - Are you able to control your actual television with the shield remote?

    It's more the social stigma that anything in the US that I would imagine would contribute to that type of labelling. BUT, Tbh, there also hasn't been a publicized US case of this with Ikea since like 2013 and I'm still not seeing that being anything big HERE but big in EUROPE. If we are using actually sourced news instead if this weird internet whispering, I see trace amounts found, mislabelling, multi-use meat processing factories, and general malarkey but not some weird intent to feed people mass amounts of horse on the sly for like...MAH PROFITS or some shit. I literally cannot find a major article about this since 2013 as far as ikea goes.

    I dunno. Someone can get themselves some ikea meatballs and then have them fully tested here, I suppose, to really confirm this theory, if they think it's all a cover up or some shit. But, like, it's likely not some huge ikea conspiracy to force horse meat on people and I'm confused why the forum is getting a little more conspiracy theory than is merited here.
