it's really a "sit around and wait" job, but obviously not everybody can do that. picking a time is really a crapshoot, but if you had to actually sit down and choose, the standard work week hours are a good bet. there are always exceptions to that, because there have been plenty of great batches late at night and on the weekends.

 

see i just need to find some good batches to work on because during the weekends i just feel like it is a waste of time for me because I can't find anything ever.

 

they're few and far between on the weekends, fwiw. if you're just sitting around watching tv or something, it doesn't hurt to keep one eye on your scraper and watchlist, but actively trying to work on the weekends is going to be difficult without closed quals like victoria reznyk and VRAPI

 

Yea i have been trying to qualify for victoria reznyk lately but my qualification hasn't been going through for some reason so i guess ill just have to keep trying.

 

they post quals every so often, it's not something you can request. i mean, the button is there if you want to push it, but the only way you'll get the qual is if you happen to be around when they have the qualifying batch up. iirc, they just had one recently, so probably not again for awhile.

 

how often would you say that usually comes up?

 

hmm, i don't really know. maybe once or twice a year? i've had it for a long time so i haven't had to pay attention to it, sorry. hopefully someone else knows

 

The qual was just handed out recently so it won't be for at least a few more months.

 

from a cursory search here, looks like the last time was may, the one before was february, and before that was november. so maybe every couple months?

 

She should stop handing out the qual and put a masters qual on it.

 

The qual opening last year was the first time in like 2 years.

 

got 'em both & it feels so goooood
