    5PM 2 days ago: call cable company, stuff is wild
    11:30ish AM today: New modem delivered
    11:45ish AM: 6/8 devices connect to new modem okay, 1 is an absolute no go, no clue why
    2:25PM: I have declared myself mentally unstable
    2:30PM: plug old router into ethernet port on new modem/router combo and now everything works

    I'm just gonna pretend this is fine until proven otherwise. I'm here to be shamed for using the cable company provided equipment

    No clue, it's the cable company's garbage, I need to go buy my own on Amazon I just wanted the old one replaced and they said they'd "upgrade" it for free so I gave in as a quick fix.
