@ChrisTurk I've always wondered this. Is this a feature you might be able to add? Like a hotkey to pause the timer.

 

It's not a huge thing, but I grab some hits while I'm doing work and flip between it and the survey's constantly if I can so it would be nice to quickly pause it with a keystroke or two.
