Whatever you get, it doesn't need many bells and whistles. The more bare bones the better. Most of the work involved in these HITs aren't pushing a ton of processing power. I'm thinking getting a new laptop for this myself.

I use a Lenovo Flex with a touchscreen. Can't remember how much it cost but it wasn't horribly expensive.

If you're getting a laptop I say go for a touchscreen. There have been a few batch hits, even surveys, where having a touchscreen sped things up for me quite a bit.

I turk from a laptop at home and desktop at work. I actually like my laptop better, with the one exception being less screen real-estate but I get around that with creative windowing.
