That happened to me yesterday. I waited for 20 mins and then submitted with an email/worker ID. I got an insta reject but they corrected it afterwards. If you still have a lot of time left on the timer, send an email and they should send you a code to avoid the reject part.

 

Did you try refreshing? I did that for one of their HITs and it seemed to help out every time it took longer to respond.
