Has LG gotten better about the spying bullshit since the early days of their TVs?

 

I don't think there are any spying in that tv. At least not from what I have heard. LG probably is on the front line with OLEDs though.

 

LG literally makes the panels for a lot of the other brands anyways lol. Them and Samsung make a good chunk of the market.

Samsung is getting into the OLED market soon. Check Rtings.com for some very in dept reviews of most tv's.

 

rtings is how I got the LG panel although they linked to bestbuy for some reason.

 

OLED's seem to get better every year. Are you gonna game on it?

 

tbh it is my bedroom TV so I prob won't game on it unless I get a switch and decide to or something. I would normally just game on my desktop so that isn't an issue. There is the concern of burn in on OLEDs though.

I also plan on getting a fancy projector setup for the living room but I'm not going to bother spending that money until this lockdown mess is over.

 

You will be fine then. Burn in was my concern about gaming but they honestly seem to be close to fixing that it seems. And it can be a panel to panel issue. That LG will be great in the bedroom! I am jealous!.
