    Dammit, I both love and hate watching Deep Purple live at the California Jam.

    Love it because it's Deep Purple with Lord, Paice, and Blackmore at their best, and a young, raw, but talented diamond-in-the-rough David Coverdale. Jon Lord, in particular, goes off the deep end with some of his experimental synth work, just brilliant. What a loss.

    And then I hate it because Glenn Hughes screeching his way through the backing vocals is cringe inducing at best and makes some parts downright unlistenable. Horrible.

    it looks fancier when it is closed but I did take a photo of just the eggs. There is a 2nd rack on the bottom section that you can't see so 6 racks total.
