sheer annoyance, ive done that before too on hits where the bonus seems a bit fishy. sometimes the req blatantly lies about ever being able to get a bonus

ive split it once from the mobo header to where the Y cable had 2 fans. it worked but i cant say if you could split it again off a second Y or not. would i do it? prolly not, id buy a separate fan controller instead of risking heat thermalling on a $2 cable. but thats me

 

Messing with their data is still not a good way to handle this. What you should do instead is find out where they live, fly/drive there, and TP their house.
