    @joie de vivre I got the treadle machine because the power tends to go out often for hours at the apartment complexes I can afford to live in. also I don't have a table for it. I researched first and found cheap, old, somewhat damaged ones that will work. they are mostly on craigslist and ebay, but used furniture stores might work too.
