Hey! So cool on the sewing machine! I've upgraded my crafting game too. I officially have a problem with yarn. I have discovered extremely inexpensive ways to acquire it and ended up with a TON of yarn and actually had to buy a shed to store it all. Proof, lol:



That's a 6' high by 4' wide by 6' long shed. That's aaaaaallllll yarn.

Son and I sold at a few farmer's markets and we made decent money. He sells his scarves and I've discovered some things of mine people will buy so I crochet a ton now. Way more than before! I have an Insta just for what I crochet, lol.

Landlording has been both easy and challenging. The laws keep changing so fast that even our lawyer gets confused and has to look up the "newest" requirements. So far 95% of tenants have been great. We haven't charged a late fee since March 2020 so that helps everyone out. A My personal rental is doing great. The agency I rent to is so happy to have a place to put clients and get them safely off the streets especially during the pandemic.

Kid has been doing pretty well in school. I'm impressed he's done so well with this crazy year!

I'm seriously planning for retirement now. Our office is not open full time anymore and not open to walk ins. I am fixin' to go in there for a few hours as soon as I shower but no one will be showing up so I can get my work done and watch Hulu on my phone at same time and get done in 3 hours what used to take me 8. All this free time has caused me to realize that I've been working for 35 years and I'm OVER IT so I'm taking the next step to make sure i can retire comfortably and figuring out how soon I can do so, lol.

Haven't been online on computer as much so not turking as much. There are days I don't even look at my computer! Which is freaking nice.

Also, I'm old. I can feel my old self really kicking in, lol. I just want to surround myself with my cats, my yarn, my kids (now that we're all vaccinated) and my looks really good yard (because I've had time to deal with it this past year) and be happy, lol.
