I mean he probably owns one of those $1000 monitor stands.

 

If things get rough at some point financially, I can just sell all my monitor stands and still maintain my lifestyle for a couple years.

Found the article.... wow just wow lol

 

It was actually a fairly logical argument.

The monitor is actually $6,000, but you get $1,000 off if you get it without the stand (ie, people who already have mounts/etcs).

I mean.. it ignores why a stand is worth a $1,000 discount but uhh.. it at least offers plausible deniability to anyone without the spare brain cell to rub together while reading it lol

JFC across my lifetime I have owned three cars which cost less than this.... combined.

 

That monitor is a pro monitor meant for professionals and companies, they are not meant for home users lol.
