06/18 - Fuzzball Friday

She was a little peeved, but appreciated it. My mom's boyfriend said my turkey was better than hers. She wasn't very happy about that.

 

I will be so happy when I can do that!

 

I go through periods of cooking all kinds of stuff and then I'll be lazy for a while and just eating crap... Cooking is fun tho even tho it sometimes seems like a pain. I really don't like spending a lot of money on take out

 

Alton Brown's turkey recipe is magic. Unorthodox, but wonderful.

 

what kind of food do you cook?

 

All sorts of stuff really. I'm all over the map... There are so many great youtube channels that show you how to make anything ya want, its pretty easy really. The main obstacle is having all the supplies/ingredients.

Indian dishes are one of my favorites but the recipes are pretty involved with lots of ingredients and take a while to prepare... soo good and healthy though.

I also am a big fan of using cast iron skillet and making a skillet full of stuff "One pan recipes" type things. You can do a lot of varied meals with just a slow cooker as well

She's good for cast iron cooking. Very easy to watch/comfortable show. Lots of youtubes.

 

I'll check it out. I just started using a cast iron this last year but its become my go to
