    This is completely unrelated to turking but I need to get it out somewhere that is not so public to my coworkers, friends, etc. I'm an assistant principal at a middle school. Friday I got a call from a classroom that a student said had a gun. Got to the room to find other students still in there! I got them out, had "the" student sit down away from belongings, and began to talk. Shirt puffy in front but couldn't see something under it. Had student pull shirt up a little so I could see waist all way good. Had another admin walk student to office, I carried belongings so we could search. Thankfully there was nothing there, all students safe, I was safe. Dealt with the situation, went to my office, closed the door, then sobbed uncontrollably for about 1/2 hour. After the crisis was averted, the reality of what "could" have happened hit me. I am struggling to think about going back to work tomorrow. I'm a gun owner, but obviously can't and shouldn't have at school. Don't need pity... just needed to get this off my chest to help me prepare for tomorrow. I'm too old for this.
