05/22 - Mundane Monday!

anyone else having problem with geohives where it doesnt highlight anything

 

These are doing the same thing the baseball fields did for me now...they are not loading pic and just black screens...anyone else?

Never mind - it finally fixed itself.

 

A tip from a requester, it is very helpful, check it.

So here's my day.

- Woke up late so I had to drive Roman to school, about 30 minutes via highway.
- Battery running out fast, might be alternator after all.
- Get Roman to school, van dies about a mile or so away. Now stuck in Buffalo.
- Friend comes to get me, takes me to mom's so I can grab some stuff and use her car. Step dad takes me instead so I don't have to worry about getting both vehicles back.
- Order the alternator before I left, picked it up on the way to the van.
- Get the alternator swapped in about 20 minutes, still not charging. ARGH!
- Run a thin wire from alternator directly to battery, works, get ride to auto shop for proper battery cable ($15).
- Install cable, getting the belt back on, SNAP! Tensioner (pulley that moves to get belt on and off) breaks right off.
- Back to auto store, buy tensioner ($40).
- Get back to van, can't find keys. Look everywhere, panic, go back to auto store, didn't find them, back to van, panic some more, reach for my wallet, how the hell are my keys in my back pocket???
- Van runs, get home, help with The Lady Amanda™ (who was in the hospital for the weekend, stomach stuff, nothing serious), find today is batchface Monday, since of course I was gone.
- However, quite a few Sergey's up still, so the day is not completely lost.
- Still need to figure out dinner and do laundry.

I think I need to hire a minion or two, whew!

Any cap reports on Sergey's yet? Hope ya'll are having a better day than I.

yeah, it's happening quite a bit.

What else would you expect from pfa's?

Dear Uncle Bobby.

These GeoHives aren't loading the maps, even after waiting about two minutes.


I've tried a few of them, and only one has had the maps.
Please advise.
