I hate when they're like "pls input your mturk id" and I have to do the double take and am like UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH sir this is prolific don't make me question myself

 

Finally got around to adding my Connect ID to my hotkey script... this is getting out of hand

 

I found out that the industry terminology, for our job title as a Mturk worker, is a Software Tester. It helps show that you actually work as part of the team for these types of projects on mturk.

 

I'd think that would really depend on the nature of the work you do on mturk. Generally, software tester is going to be someone who does beta testing to locate bugs and whatnot... wouldn't really think that applies to much done here

Thanks, good to know. I have just seen the term thrown around for a few projects on mturk.

 

I don't think there really is a term for what we do, as far as selectable options in those industry lists you see. The ones that seem slightly related don't generally refer to what we're doing. This isn't really considered a career path.
