I assume I know what you both are talking about. I've noticed more in this batch that seem meant to catch bad workers and people using scripts or just clicking randomly. Honestly, hoping some bad workers that have the qual finally get banned from some of these better batches. Not talking about anyone here, but I know there are some bad people that lurk this forum that ruin good things for the rest of us. And then complain the loudest when researchers, etc stop posting and there's no work for anyone. Screw those people, but I hope no one catches a stray and gets banned, if the requester is putting some tasks in to catch the bad actors.

ETA: didn't mean scripts to accept work/ search for jobs, etc, but ones to auto fill/ submit and truly 'cheat the system/ requester'...

 

i dont think noah really does that, but it would be nice. some are just glitches i think. i just return them if there is any doubt because i'm paranoid tho.

 

Think some people that are qualed for the other mag 7 company good ones have gotten banned from them before, and I always kind of assumed NT was an affiliated acct. Would love to see that at some point.

Nah, I just meant Am.zn, goo.g.... used to have more accounts. So, I was referencing the good AI tasks that post every once in a while. MSF.t used to have accounts though too and likely all of them if bad workers hadn't made their spending useless to an extent. Mag 7 is just a more stock market term that refers to 7 of the biggest tech companies out there...

oh yeah I remember project endor, which I think was google affiliated right? They used to post a lot in the past. Many good paying requesters in the past stopped posting on mturk because of the constant scammers that lurk the platform. I think I read on reddit that there might be an influx of AI related task on mturk in the near future since the platform is pretty much "ready" for a flood of work. Hopefully that is the case *crosses fingers*

 

Just realizing how good Gemini is at translating the skills used in Mturk batch/other crowdsource work into resume speak. Way easier than doing it back in the day just gonna pass it through Claude after and then I'll finalize

 

Endor was affiliated with Google. Only learned a cpl weeks ago that IC3 is run by a guy from Microsoft(or somebody they contract). Lol somebody was posting the github on the Prolific subreddit cause they were pissed.
