07/06 - Garbage Monday

I got a serious case of the monday mood:

 

I just saw the banner at the top of mturk (though I hardly use the site anymore, due to lack of projects there that I can do) - I guess that means that there will be no new requester accounts being made. I never got masters despite the really long time I've been there, probably because I focus mostly on surveys. and around 10 years ago I had 25 rejections from someone that previously did batches, and suddenly decided not to do batches anymore but I hadn't realized it. (cripes, they should have made an exclusion qual after you complete the first task!)

 

Same. But I'll never forget that one region of the world which was using mturk as a stomping grounds for credit card fraud. Gotta give them the credit

 

Can we please not do this? Like, I need new brake pads for my Porsche 911 GT3 RS and you're sharing my secret batch? There's already barely any work left on MTurk, please let's be a tad more considerate to folks like me who, unlike many others, genuinely need this money to service their sports car collection. Thank you.

 

I recently switched browsers, and though I don't usually find any work on mturk anymore, I used to be able to rate things, as part of turkerview, but now it is no longer there - what script am I missing?

 

You need MTS extension, but unfortunately it only works in Edge browser now (and might be disabled for Edge soon too).

In Edge you can install it from:

Apparently TurkerView standalone script is still available too, but no idea if it actually still works and cba to try it, but here's the link:

I have that, but the only thing it seems to do is shows the ratings on the search page. there's no longer any review option on the dash board that I can see. it does have the review/return button on the tasks, but it doesn't function.
