I am so glad I learned a new thing today or I wouldn't have gotten to see... this LMAO

 

Yeah, so, instead of having a flat score of approvals versus rejections, like mTurk and Prolific has, CloudResearch Connect instead uses a "Quality Score", which is displayed and functionally operates as a credit score, despite how much they deny that it's actually just credit score.

 

"Universally, nearly everyone in this entire country hates these credit score companies.. lets do it"

If they just hired like one normal person off the street in any of these places with the authority to slap someone when they try to implement a stupid idea they'd solve a lot of problems.

 

Even the dude with a perfect score hates it, what a masterclass.

 

I will preface with this the fact that from the beginning, Connect used a credit score system to try to deninate between good workers and bad workers. With that being said, I can personally only describe this system as the single most nationalist nonsense I have ever seen, especially since they spent the better part of a year and half trying to "reboot it" only to end up with a version that is even worst then before.

I have a perfect score, and I don't quite understand what makes it tick, and I realistically should not have it the way it is, and personally, I think that it's an fundamentally stupid system that shouldn't exist.

It's completely nonsensical, and a lot of people who wouldn't even be a problem on Prolific or mTurk are so deep in the pits it's impossible to dig out of there.
