still just kind of waiting for a last minute "haha just kidding guiz" from Amazon. it won't happen but lol.

do we know what Amazon is defining as Sept 30? like midnight September 30th PST? or end of day Sept 30?

 

3am est oct 1st to give everyone that last final glimmer of hope for no dang reason

awww it didn't come out right, there was an actual good HIT when mturk ending

 

Im gonna be working on mturk these fast few days as a final send off. Mturk has really helped me along the way esp with my cats.

 

Same. It helped me with renovating my second expedition yacht.

@kaduchi just make a new mturk really fast. call it "the new real mturk" and email all the people on the forums and all the requesters on mturk. amazon won't care because they are getting rid of it in a day and a half or something.

the loss of mturk is going to leave a void. if someone doesn't set up a new mturk exactly like the old one, the void will be filled with nonsense that causes problems for requesters and turkers. like now, but way more so.

someone just make a new one really fast!

I found a post by @AlexZ about turkpocolypse but it is mostly about tuna and sardines

 

maybe someone can make a new mturk with one of those "shopify" templates. is there a reason why not?

 

or those godaddy piecemeal website bits and pieces. they do hosting too.
