McDermott is my favorite requester I think. I really enjoy them for whatever reason.

 

A few years ago my then-8yo daughter got busted giving personal info in a forum online, thus grounded. I went back through her previous communications, and I swear, every 3rd post or so she was saying f**k. Now, that's my favorite word. Always has been. But my ridiculously sweet, super modest, cries when she thinks she's hurt someone's feelings throwing out that word everywhere? I laughed for like 3 hours... then grounded her longer.

Hate, stupid, retarded, ugly, etc., are considered worse in this house than curse words.

That said, I'm still trying to get used to my 19yo daughter cursing openly in front of me. It's a little jarring.

i never said one swear word in front of my dad, even though he wouldn't have cared if i did and probably would have just laughed. he did the same with me, even though he cursed with all his buddies when i wasn't around. the only time i ever heard him swear is saying "well, shit" when he was diagnosed with cancer, i guess that's appropriate enough. i still always think it's weird when my friends swear around their parents, and i still don't swear in front of parents/grandparents/whatever even when they do. i doubt i've even cursed on facebook.

i've been typing this for like an hour because this person at work thinks my job is to entertain him with conversation about my personal life and i wish he'd just read a magazine like normal people do in a waiting room. "do you go to school? got any kids? what sports do you like? do you have siblings? how old are you? what were your grades like in school?" shhhhhuuuutthefuckup.

 

They're doing two day tours in alot of places, you should look it up and see if they are coming close to you. They did is a real boy here two years ago and it was fantastic! Something you shouldnt miss for sure.

Usually it's the other way around for me - I'll be sitting in the waiting room trying to read a magazine and the person sitting at the desk wants to talk non-stop. My nerves are already on edge sitting there waiting, please stop LOL

In other news, I try not to cuss too much, but there are some days where something or someone annoys the living shit out of me and that's my way of venting
