I guess I'm ok with shootouts settling a regular season game. I would prefer not having them but I also understand the average fan doesn't want to see a tie and playing a full OT period isn't a good solution ever.

However, a shootout settling a championship game is absurd. Let's have a contest of slow motion dangles you'd never use in a real game

 

you know I went back in to edit that, because right after I posted I realized I lost a bracket somewhere, but the image still worked so I left it.

One time I replaced some inner components of a morpac valve, and when I was done I had leftover parts that I certainly shouldn't have but it ran flawlessly so...
