Y'know when you first joined I thought you were one of the community crazies I'd have to ban eventually because the only thing I ever saw you write was "blaps" ... like over & over & over again.

I wasn't wrong about the crazy part at least

 

Honestly, I'm pretty all around. I'd say FPS are my most played/favorite genre, but other than that. I love a good story & exploration as well (I do game development, so I look at a lot of details on things most players probably wouldn't blink twice at. I'd also like to dev for VR down the road too)

 

And with me, you just worry about the day I light everything on fire.

I'm guessing you followed these instructions already but if not.
Pairing the Steam Link and Steam Controller

The Steam Controller can be paired directly to the Link without using a wireless USB dongle. To pair your Steam Link and Steam Controller, please do the following:

• Turn your Steam Controller and Steam Link off.
• Remove all input devices from the Steam Link and power it on.
• When prompted, pick up your Steam Controller, then hold down (X) and press the Steam button.

You may also use a wireless USB dongle or mini-USB cable to connect your Steam Controller to your Steam Link.

 

Okay for shooters onward is fucking ace (multiplayer). I can tolerate the movement and it's so fun. You have to like do all the real motions to interact with the guns (reload, change mag, etc). If you have the room I definitely recommend the kitty corner set up for full 360 movement. Two cameras is enough, but more is better. I was having a few issues with my hand movement tracking so I splurged for the third and everything is much smoother now.

Robo Recall is hands down the best singleplayer VR shooter I've touched to date, I recommend giving that one a go to get your toes wet before jumping into multiplayer options.

Superhot VR is also hella fun and singleplayer

Orbus VR is really fun for me because its a huge MMORPG, with three classes you can swap at any time. I'm just using the ranger though beause the whole VR of drawing back the arrow and spinning around knocking enemies down makes me feel like

I've never fallen into the steam trap of having more games than I have time to play.... but uh, I have that problem on the rift XD

 

I haven't tried it, but I have a friend who went through the crapola of getting Fallout4 VR to work on the rift and he raves about it constantly.

Jotting these down, thanks so much! Robo Recall does indeed look like a lot of fun. I'm huge into the Unreal Engine community, so it was cool to see them break it down and show behind the scenes stuff. Job Simulator looks hilarious as well.

Yeah I have 424 Steam games lol. Battlefield 4 (not Steam, obv), Hitman (2016) and PUBG are my most played games.
