02/06 - Mixing Up Monday!

It's just that many people that know me personally have this idea that I come from money because my grandparents own 100s of acres of land and have a hefty retirement and almost every male is retired military. I never really put much thought into it because besides my grandma spending a stack a day on dresses, everyone in my family lives a quant middle class lifestyle - now I wonder how many girlfriends wanted me for mah grandpappy's land money.

I am so glad you brought that up. I have been meaning to discuss this for some time now!

 

I kinda sorta ended up marrying into a mystery amount of money lol. My father in law is SUPER cheap (He spent 12 years building their house on his own while they lived in a trailer in the back yard) and my mother in law won an as yet unspecified amount of money in a lawsuit some years back. All we really know about it is that he stowed all of it away and makes it difficult to get to, he threw a huge fit when he found out she had taken a couple of thousand out of it, and that they briefly considered buying a place on a nearby lake that rents out cabins for somewhere upwards of 400,000. I think how much or if we ever see any of that money will greatly depend on what order his parents pass in.

 

Dude...you do know I was joking about the wanting him for his money part right? The Bird's love don't cost a thing, I have that in common with J.Lo. I mean, now if you want to combine forces and form a giant land owners consortium with minions that could be arranged. That's what you do with large amounts of lands, right guys? You form alliances with other land owning people?! I only know what I learned from the television!

About to eat my first rejection in ~ 1 year. Was trying to return a survey I didn't qual for and just blindly clicked on submit.

Ugh... I'm trying to get through this Long Term Relationship survey but it's killing me.
