    Speaking of things sucking, the weight of the snow just broke a tree in my front yard. And the kids have another snow day tomorrow. Snow is dumb.

    If you aren’t familiar with graphic novels as a medium (or even if you are) I also highly highly recommend Scott McCloud’s book on understanding comics. It’s an easy and quick read but it makes the experience so much better:

    Can you explain the book that explains how to read comics to me? There is no preview of this thing, and I'm dubious on spending $15 on something that is proclaiming to tell me how to look at pictures..?
