    Just wanted to throw this out there. If you have noticed applications or folders taking a little bit longer to open or you just want to clear up this issue:
    Microsoft during one of their brilliant updates removed a service but left an application call to it so it is still trying to run during certain events that require the use of your profile.

    The Application Event ID of the error is 1534:
    Profile notification of event Load for component {B31118B2-1F49-48E5-B6F5-BC21CAEC56FB} failed, error code is See Tracelogging for error details.

    If you search for it in your application log in event viewer you will probably see it in clusters of two or three occurrences throughout the log.

    This is the fix that worked for me and I have noticed an improvement since doing the following and rebooting but YMMV

    1. Open Regedit as Admin and navigate to the following two keys

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileNotification
    2. Under each ProfileNotification check if you have the TDL key
    3. Export the TDL key at each location for backup
    4. Take ownership of the key and set Administrators to Full Control
    4. Delete the TDL key at each location
    5. Reboot PC to verify
