    I haven't really been following the story, but just saw on facebook a friend posted that they have Veterans Acres taped off with helicopters and stuff.

    I'm not sure if you're familiar with the area at all, but It'd be an absolutely unusual place to hide a body tbh. It's a pretty popular park and the ponds are pretty small


    Has there been any updates with the pond removal? I figure I could google it - but easier to ask you

    that's about all i've heard too, that they've been searching that park and pond all day. one news outlet said it was false that they found a body at VA, but they clearly have that on lockdown for some reason. everything about this whole story is stupid, it wouldn't surprise me if they were big dummies and dumped his body in an obvious spot, it's like they're not even trying to get away with it. it's all so sad, especially sad that the parents had custody at all. i got a news alert from wgn saying the conditions of their house were "deplorable", so, ugh, i can't even imagine.
