When I was a kid Star Wars and Star Trek were two totally different things to me, now one guy has directed most of the modern Star Trek and Star Wars films lol

I think it is perfectly fine that someone is making money off of providing a service that more than makes up for it monetarily. I pick up probably around 10/day when I'm not working just by having things in the background and a good TV let's me know it is worth it.

No, not sucking up... (couldn't care tbh) but it is true.
