    Oh I entirely see where you're coming from on that. At the very least I think giving workers a fair chance to complete the HIT without having to rush would be preferable as to also maintain data quality. I mean if a HIT is expected to take 9 minutes and you have people rushing to beat the timer I'm not sure if your data is gonna usable anyway.

    Latency for Starlink will eventually overtake efficiency of most landbased systems for multiple reasons (more direct paths, EM signals traveling faster, etc.) However, near global coverage is the gamechanger itself. ...and besides launch and satellite costs, it is cheaper than many land/sea based projects.

    Until you count all the people that hold it in their queue for the full hour, then someone else catches and holds it for an hour, etc. My experience was that I could process at the point in time approximately 3x the length of the timer. So 20 mins ---> 1 hr. With an hour timer, that would shoot up to 3hrs. Considering most of this stuff was dumb and inconsequential, that's a lot of time to wait for something bullshittish :emoji_joy:
