they skipped 4 for superstitious reasons. OP3 is still solid AF though.

 

Yeah I was thinking about the pixel 3a being a new phone.

3a looks like a solid phone, but some of the specs are still worse than my OP3. My mom just picked it up actually.

 

didn't iphone skip 9 and just went straight X=10?

 

That isn't the point. Most people won't notice any lag on the 3a and it is cheaper with the best camera on the market. The camera for $400 is the whole point of it.

 

Is that why Apple skipped the 9? Some kind of superstition. Was there an OS 9? I'm pretty sure there was.

 

Phones should just have years in them like apple does for their computers.
