    And all I'm really saying here is that the bonus system is supposed to urge a worker to do extra work for a little extra pay and now effectively is going to make the worker avoid the extra work altogether because it's no longer guaranteed to be compensated.

    your right but at least you have a chance albeit small, that one mistake no bonus for the month policy was pretty much a guarantee of no bonus - personally staying away from most units right now till I get used to the new interface and adjust my work flow.
