08/23 - Forever Friday!

Oh man I remember when I first started turking, I was just clicking random hits, doing anything I could off of the first few pages. Didn't have access to anything like Turkopticon or TurkerView, I managed to do a few hundred hits that way, and I managed to survive with 0 rejections, but I only made like $20 for what seemed like 15 hours of work, haha. I quit for like a year after that because I thought it was a waste of time, but after things like panda crazy and MTS came out I decided to try it out again and they made things a lot easier and I was pulling in $15 a day while doing other things. Then I really dug into all of the various forums and such to find out how to optimize, got a couple of good qualifications and I was up to like $30 a day with MTS.

 

Is it listed anywhere on the forum how the ranks works? & how you earn badges?

I first found mturk in 2007. Took one look at it after being approved and was like, nah this shit's too complicated obvi not worth it, didn't even try a single hit. Probably would have masters now if I'd made any effort at all lol
