not what you're asking, but we never stopped doing santa, lol. i even had very specific gifts i received from santa every year.

i don't remember what age i was when i found out, but i remember i heard something in the living room and peeked out of my bedroom door and saw my dad unloading all the gifts. i was like "oh " and went back to bed and that was that. i wasn't even phased. i never told him, and whenever it came up that santa wasn't real, he'd exaggeratedly be like "WHAT??!? hOw DaRe YoU." or tell people "SHH! she doesn't know yet!"

 

Yeah same, my 72-year-old mom still stays up late or gets up super early to hang the stockings from Santa. We're all like, hey, we're adults just sleep in, and she'll say "What do you mean? I don't have any stockings. It's obvi just Santa!"

I'm glad Santa has teamed up with Amazon for the past few years to make it easy for his poor old soul to get the Christmas goodies to all the good little boys and girls on time.

We leave her a stocking, too. My sister's and I team up, one or two of us will distract her while the other one sneaks out with her stocking and hangs it.

So I was on the train heading home from work tonight and I heard someone shouting. I took one of my earbuds out and some guy was yelling "He's watching porn, y'all! This man is watching porn on his phone right now!" Lmao he got called the fuck out

 

My parents never "stopped" either.

I stopped with Kiddo only because he flat out told me he knew the truth, that Santa isn't real, and asked me to tell him the TRUTH TRUTH.

So I did the "Is there an actual dude who lives up North? No. But there is a Santa, and he lives in the heart of everyone of us who share his joy with others on Christmas, and as long as we all keep him alive he's real. I was planning on never "telling" him like my parents with me, but...he flat out asked, and I don't lie when flat out asked.
