12/12 - Trying Thursday!

If the musics playing I can definitely sing it all(badly), but I don't think I could type anything other than the chorus out.

I have the entire soundtrack to both the motion picture and the Broadway version memorized 100% (perhaps not totally accurately, as there were no lyrics online back when I was a true fan). There are some different songs and ways of singing in the Broadway version.

I've seen the movie and many live actions (professionals acting out, not just randoms who show up to the movie) at least 25 times, but less than 100. I legit have seen it so many times I cannot hope to ever count. Got obsessed with it when I was 15 and that didn't end until I started having kids.

 

This has to be my favorite song to sing in the shower... or everywhere.

Are you a fan of Hedwig and the Angry Inch? The (movie) soundtrack is awesome.

 

They did about 6 live shows where they act it out under the screen while the movies playing at a little theater where I went to college. I was good for at least 3 of those. Always fun taking people who had never seen it before.

When they saw everyone all dressed up on the way into the movie the look on their faces was priceless. That and they got big V's painted on their cheeks on the way in and were made to go up on stage and do stupid stuff before the show started. I forget what he won, but my buddy won something for doing the best Scooby Doo sex noises on stage before the show.
