Cue everyone either

• Madly transferring all their money in a last desperate dash before the start of the Amazon Payments switchover; or
• Sitting watching a building balance, unwilling to move it over now as we head into the weekend in case something goes horribly wrong, and nervously wondering if they'll ever gain access to their money again in time for last minute Christmas shopping.

 

I know something is happening with amazon payments soon. I must have missed the announcement. Can someone tell me ( or provide a link) of what is going on ?

This new option will enable you to have your MTurk payments deposited directly into your US bank account on a regular schedule. You can adjust your payment settings to occur every 7, 14, 30 or 60 days depending on the cadence that works best for you. We encourage you to set up direct transfer through the MTurk website starting December 15, 2019 as we will discontinue the Amazon Payments disbursement option on January 15, 2020 in lieu of direct US bank account transfers for eligible MTurk Workers.

tl;dr no more Amazon Pay transfers, AMT is going to direct deposit on a schedule of your choosing.

 

Moving money on a weekend has always been futile (for me at least.) It's not like it's going to go poof when the changeover happens.

 

Also we have until January 15th to use a.pay if we want

So does The Choice Lab start posting around any particular time on days they do post or is it random? I did look up their turkerview page and it shows the last time each hit was posted but not the first. I've only done them two or three times so I'm not sure of their usual schedule.,

i noticed they post anywhere from 6 am est to noon est. They're in Norway, so its at least a 6 hr time difference
