I’ve done that before! I usually thaw them a bit in the fridge and then go for it. I’ve actually found semi-frozen nanners make the best bread/cake cause they sorta...not to sound gross, but they basically seep nanner juices into the cake and make it all moist and tasty.

 

Yeah they def get slimier in the freezer, which should be a better thing for baked goods I'd reckon?

Oh btw, I said to bf when he got home yesterday that I was thinking of doing this shitty lowest-possible-effort chocolate filled phyllo thingy, but you had suggested several better things so let's do this banana cake. He immediately was like, nah let's do both! So we're doing both I guess, law, this is not like me
