12/30 - No Money Monday

It's almost that time of the year when we get all those new years resolutioner shiptoasters. Just be patient with those fucking nerds.

 

Probably depends on your bank. But I did my first transfer yesterday. Amazon says it is done. it is not pending in my account as of this morning. I expect it will show up tomorrow based on my previous experience with Payments.

But, as I said, I'm sure it's different with some banks where it might show up on a Monday if you transfer Sunday.

 

Does your bank usually take transfers on weekends? For most people it seems to be the same amount of time as Payments took.

My teen is on winter break. I have to say forget the saying "I wanna sleep like a baby."

I just wanna sleep like a teenager on winter break! Holy heck!

My work was open at noon last Thursday and Friday, but my sick self only showed up for two hours for something I absolutely had to do and no one else could and I shouldn't have driven. It was like driving drunk I swear, I was so sick!

 

Nope. I wish it would. So Sunday sounds like it might be a good day to set it up using a 7 day frequency. I wish they still had 1 day.

 

I'm considering switching to Saturdays so it will be there on Mondays but...honestly, makes no difference to me if it shows up Monday or Tuesday.

Not like that whopping $50 is making much difference this week, lol! (Hardly worked on mturk at all due to Christmas and being sick and I put everything I had pending into Payments prior to setting that up...)

 

Everyone in the family has had something since the beginning of the month. Son is on the longest winter break ever. They don't go back until the 6th. I wish he would sleep in but he's up every day before sun is up.

My kid goes back the 13th. But they didn't get out until the 20th. We had a very busy week this last week despite me being sick so he's looking forward to downtime this next week!

My kid sleeps in. I got lucky and was able to "train" him on this from the day he was born. His mama is (was) a night owl and loves sleeping in. He's turning out the same way.

now I'm getting old so my preferences seem to be changing, lol. I'm turning into my grandparents.

 

My girlfriend currently has some sort of plague. Me, healthy as a butterscotch cookie. Haven't had a cold in like 10 years.

just realizing I'm bad at similes. That's supposed to be a good thing not a bad thing. I now realize that cookies aren't healthy, but that's not what I meant.
