Any newbies that just installed anything have a loud clanging bell and know how to disable it?

 

In PC? The bell means the timer on the HIT you caught is running low.

I just installed PC and things are dinging really loudly.

I actually haven't clickety clacked on anything to make it make that noise..... but thinking I should return stuff I didn't know I had?

 

I haven't used PC in a long time but I remember it doing that after catching a bunch of quick penny HITs and freaking out lol. I think you can hit stop all PANDAs and see what ones are set up so they don't try to grab stuff you don't want.

kid gets to stay home today. I wish he was in his other school (when He was little) they go to school and just have an assembly to learn about MLK so I guess I will give him an assignment to learn some stuff and a short report (yes I am that kind of mom, he is 14 and needs something to do haha)

Okay, so this doesn't scare the shit out of you. When you get a high paying hit it plays some really bad rock REALLY LOUD.
Go to Options, Timers, and change those however you like.

At least there wasn't any writing.

Cons:
Several pages of bubbles that have very little to do with information security and more about behaviors and personality. Nearly every personality question from every psych survey is in this HIT. It was slow and I was not in any hurry to get this done, but if the day were busier, I would have skipped it.
