    Thanks. I have this book, "The Vikings," by Jonathan Clements. Now, IO'm not particularly interested in Viking history, but every three or four years I grab this book and re-read it (which I think is a bit weird). Hence, the source of my information. And Clements states that his interpretation of Viking history is a bit ... unconventional.
