    The room I'm moving to is thankfully drywall so I can make it look fairly decent and I'm honestly excited that I can have space to myself. We live with my grandmother in her house but the house will be mine eventually as that was the arrangement for my wife and I completely uprooting and moving in with her so she didn't have to live alone. It might sound/seem rough.... but I do have a family of my own to think about and I wasn't going to give up our living arrangement to possibly be homeless if her health takes a bad turn.

    Space is a bit...tight and honestly we all need a bit of time away from each other sometimes. I haven't had any real space of my own in...8 or so years. I made sure my wife and son had it first so I'm just...ready. Not trying to sound selfish but sometimes I just need a quiet space to chill out.

    Also, I can finally bring out all the pac-man memorabilia I have since I used to collect it.

    I understand that, when my older kid comes home from college the house doesn't have as much free space so tempers flare when you get 3 teens together.

    Yeah exactly. It's been happening a bit more and more and honestly...my wife and I don't really bicker but it's been happening a lot more recently. Mostly on my part I will 100% admit...I've just been...irritated is the nice word I'll use.

    She doesn't completely understand my point of view because she does work outside the house...so when she comes home it's time to play with my son/the dogs and it's her fun time.

    Thankfully she's super supportive and I finally just had to sit down and talk to her about it...once she understood how much it was bugging me we immediately started putting everything in motion. I only put it off so long because we have to get a shed/other storage solution and that can be a bit expensive but at this point, it's worth it. I just want us to get along like we always did and not fixing it because of money ultimately seemed stupid.
