It's a garbage XF extension that adds a little live chat to the bottom of the daily thread where you can DM people instead of using the normal DM system (so don't have to open a different tab/change the page lol).

Unfortunately it also self ddoses the site so basically like 10 people still have it from when I installed it ages ago lol

You mean I gotta learn something NEW that I gotta FIX when stupid people BREAK it?

I'm not in IT. I just do it for my business because no one else knows chit about computers, and therefore my boss tells everyone I know things so I get stuck doing free computer diagnostics and fixing (and phone fixing/setup/training) because I'm nice and say yes (and they're always clients, so...I kind of have to be nice.)

 

Just put up a hit for someone to make you a new custom coded one. Ez

Just create a discord channel. That would definitely go over well.

 

Also, the only time in my career I've ever come remotely close to working a help desk role was a two month contract in Australia when I was called in to give some specialized SME assistance to reduce a huge backlog of trouble tickets for a company that had the Australasian support contract for a particular international software vendor. This helps explain why I get annoyed when people think I'm from Australia.
