He's 38 and he acts like a 70 year old curmudgeon, he rants about how technology is ruining the world and how the Corona virus is going to kill everyone and if I tell him he's being alarmist I get "people are dying!" it's just like dude you watch to much news...

He has a 16 year old and a 12 year old child...his daughter is going on a cruise with his ex wife, he's flipping out that he doesn't want her to go because something bad could happen. It just gets old...

He's constantly hammered, he can't remember what he told me 10 minutes ago, he thinks kids always went to school on MLK and presidents day...

I've just had enough, I was trying to be nice and wait till after his situation with his mom was over but it's now been on going for 4 years and I can't take it anymore. Also they're broke so I offered to buy his car that they never use and he no longer wants for a grand...I've been waiting for 2 months because he's "to busy" to clean it out or even do anything with it when he doesn't work...

Just done.

 

I hope this is a warning to anyone who plans on going on vacation in another country and trying to turk. Don't do it, bros.

I could see why you would be. You could suggest to him that he gets some professional help and then step away for your own mental health.

 

I told him I thought he was depressed because he literally doesn't enjoy anything he use to..all the things that made us friends. And he basically told me he grew up and I didn't...."I'm not depressed everyone else is just crazy"

 

I'm not happy about this. I don't want you to go. You're going to be missed.
