04/26 - Sweet Sunday!

Anyone know if you can hide hits based on the name of the hit if I want to block a particular hit from a requester and not everything they post?

 

If you are using Hit Finder, click the blue button with a circle and an i. It should give an option to Block that hit by name/id.

 

Thanks, I'm using hitforker I think if you press the T it blocks based on term which I think will work. Trying it out now

Is anyone getting that 400 error from mturk again? I did that thing where I followed Chris's steps for using that cookie extension and that fixed it for awhile but its back now, I have had to clear my mturk cookies twice tonight to get rid of it and I keep having to reapply my api key + settings. Wondering if its just me..

I usually only run into a cookie problem if

• After accepting a HIT in Chrome, it's completed in Firefox|Edge, and then submitted through FF|Edge
• Chrome silently fails and reloads the tab Hit Forker is running in, and that tab for some mysterious reason does not correctly load my profile (that reason being Chrome is a clown browser for clowns to use at the circus)

Occasionally I'll still get a malformed cookie for some mysterious reason from Amazon (presumably due to Mturk's high standards of only hiring clown college graduates to work on their backend), but 9 times out of 10 it's a Chrome problem, and the only real solution is check for a Chrome update and restart.

 

Are you calling yourself a clown who works at a circus?
