The purpose of our study was to investigate the factors that influence users’ trust in an automated system in a collaborative task.

While we told participants that they would be compensated based on their score, scores were actually just a function of the number of images allocated to the automated agent. Additionally, the maximum score in the game was approximately 90 rather than 100.

This was an experimental strategy used by the researchers in order to observe whether certain system features had an effect on allocation. The results of this experimental technique will be assessed using gameplay and survey responses you provided.
